I must not have very good taste in film. While I have heard of all these movies, not a single one is my idea of good entertainment.

There is not a single movie in that list that I really want to see. Most of them, with the exception of the departed, sound boring to me. I guess maybe I don't really fit in with the status quo when it comes to movies.

Helen Mirren's likeness to Elizabeth II in The Queen is uncanny.

I have yet to see Dreamgirls- which someone told me it the only movie that everybody clapped for in a LONG time. My boyfriend bought The Departed, and we have yet to find the time to acually watch it. Hmm...I'm Hopeing that Meryl Streep will win! I love The Devil Wears Prada!!!!

I have to give you credit, I don't think I would be able to think of all of those movies, let alone make predictions for the oscars.

I do have to agree with you on alot of your predictions though. I think Leonardo DiCaprio did an outstanding job in "Blood Diamond"; its one of my favortite movies from this past year.

I also agree that Martin Scorsese did an amazing job with "The Departed."

I don't usually follow up with the Oscars but I do find your predictions interesting.
